To add an id tag to a repository install xmlstarlet and run

xmlstarlet ed --inplace --insert "target/locations/location/repository[contains(@location,'developer.virtual-developer.com')]" --type attr -n id -v vd-p2-gs com.gs.gapp.vd-*-target-neon/com.gs.gapp.vd-*-target.target
